Drake - Successful ft. Trey Songz

The video is so dope. Filmed in the streets of Toronto. The visual matches the audio perfectly. Jake Davis should go ahead and direct all of Drakes videos lol. Trey's verse was epic on there, it ended nicely also. And Oliver did his thing as wardrobe coordinator; their gear is on point. Great product. Only thing is Drake's body language looks a lil unnatural like he's trying too hard.

Drake Feat. Nipsey Hussle - Killers

Hot track, both go hard and spit on a flashy, yet introspective level. Beat definitely goes hard. I'm still trying to find out who produced it. Nobody on twitter knows. Final Analysis: dope

'Successful' Video Shoot Behind the Scenes

As I was casually browsing the web, I decided to stop at Octobers Very Own to see what was new. I'm excited to see that they are shooting a video for my favorite song from the 'So Far Gone' tape. And even more excited about the director, Jake Davis. This guy has an eye for excellence along with an intricate mind which, together, makes for something monumental. I've been following his blog since either late 2008 or early this year. I advice fashion-heads to follow also. He always has some interesting posts and views about various things. BUT ANYHOW, back to Drake's vid. Here are a few pics from the video shoot.

Kevin Cossom "Relax" ft. Snoop Dogg

This song is pretty-damn-bumpin. I dig it. I'm gonna go ahead and assume he writes his own lyrics. The lyrics are good; it's quality music. The song was produced by Nate "Danjahandz" Hill, who was the mega-producer protege of the megaproducer Timbaland. Snoop did his thing on the verse, but it's his same ol Snoop, which we've had since about 2004. Let's switch it up Snoop. I'll even take the Snoop when he first came out, the flow was cold, g. Nonetheless, good song. peep.

NIPSEY HUSSLE!

I seriously LOVE this niggas music. This is that dude next up out WEST hands down. This dude flows like he's from the east too and just makes hot songs. Damn near all of Nipsey's material sounds like album cuts. Here we have Bullets Aint Got No Names vol. 3 (make sure you check out 1 & 2)

You might not be able to relate to what he's saying but there's always a message in his bars & the music/production is so hot that you could really care less...
